MBA Curriculum: Strategic Management and Leadership.

Program Overview

This MBA program is designed to develop strategic management and leadership skills, enabling managers to translate organizational strategy into effective operational performance. It combines theoretical fundamentals with practical skills development, reflecting current practices in strategic management and leadership.

Master’s Degree Admission Requirements

1. Completed Application Form

Submit the official ASBS Master’s Programme Application Form online.

2. Academic Qualifications

A recognized Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution or official transcripts

3. English Language Proficiency (if prior education was not in English) Minimum scores:

Students from non-English speaking countries must show proof of English ability.
Required level equivalent to:
- IELTS overall 5.0
- CEFR Level: B2
- PTE Academic: Minimum 41 overall
This level is necessary to successfully study the qualification.

4. Personal Statement

750–1,000 words outlining your professional experience, academic interests, career goals, and motivation for joining ASBS.

5. Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Detailed résumé highlighting education, professional experience, leadership activities, awards, and relevant skills.

6. Professional Experience (preferred but not mandatory)

For MBA or executive programmes, at least 2 years of relevant work experience is strongly recommended.

7. Copy of Passport or National ID

Required for international applicants; must be valid for the duration of the programme.

8. Application Fee

Non-refundable application fee of CHF 75 (to be confirmed by ASBS finance office).

Globalization and Corporate Governance (10 credits)

Understand global business dynamics and ethical governance in multinational organizations.

Final Business Project (Dissertation) Credits: 30 ECTS

Prerequisite: Completion of all core MBA modules
Assessment Method: Dissertation + Viva Voce (optional)

Project Structure

Topic Proposal & Approval

Submit a project proposal outlining topic, aims, objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes.
Must be approved by a faculty supervisor.

Research & Analysis

Primary and/or secondary data collection.
Critical literature review (minimum 25 academic references).
Use of appropriate analytical frameworks (e.g., SWOT, PESTLE, Porter’s Five Forces).

Supervision & Support

Each student will be assigned a dedicated supervisor.
Minimum of 4 supervision meetings (online or face-to-face).
